Money vs. God

God with us

God is so much more precious that gold. We should neither love money nor worry about money. Our primary priority in life should be a living relationship with God. This graciously profitable treasure of reconciliation with God is possible only through Jesus Christ.

Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Hebrews 13:5

I love the contrast in this verse between love of money and God’s presence with us. In a sense, what this verse is saying is that the rich treasure of God’s presence should leave us in a state of contentment that far surpasses any gratification that money can bring. God is with us as believers, we are in possession of the highest treasure!

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
Romans 8:31-32

Praise God for His Provisions!

I praise God for His provision thus far for the expenses for the upcoming Malawi Mission. Although there is still need for a fair amount of finances, I am confident that God will provide. I am grateful for those whom God has used to give and I trust that God will bless and reward them.

Update 1

I am still trusting God for another R14200. I am amazed at the faithfulness of God to provide for the needs of this mission – it is a wonderful experience of faith building as I trust God.

A Beautiful Team Member

There is also the possibility that my wife, Renee joins me in Malawi during her October school holidays. This will of course push the expenses up, but it will be an amazing blessing for the women in Malawi and also for us (as a couple) not to spend too much time apart; this will therefore enable me to spend more time in Malawi. Please pray with us as we seek God’s guidance in this matter.

I will appreciate it if you would pray with me that God will provide these needs. I have so often been blessed to see God answer prayers like these. As you join us in praying for this request I trust that you will share in the blessing of answered prayer.

Thank you for your love and encouragement.

Please do keep in touch.

May God richly bless you.

To know Him and make Him known
