Financial Report: Malawi Mission – March 2016
I greet you in the wonderful Name of Jesus Christ.
I hope that you are well.
As a full-time missionary trusting God for whatever is needed to fulfil my calling, I am so often astounded and amazed at the faithful way in which He provides the finances and resources that are required to bring each endeavour to a successful conclusion. The Malawi Mission which I conducted in March is certainly no exception.
God has used various individuals to provide the funds needed for this Mission and for this I am immensely grateful. This report serves as an accountability structure, not only for me to be transparent, but also so that you may be informed as to the various expenses that a mission outreach of this nature involves.
I came back from Malawi with my pockets empty and my bank account almost at zero (literally). I joyfully spent all that I had received – finances, energy, teaching…
“What do you have that you did not receive?” – 1 Corinthians 4:7
“Freely you have received; freely give.” – Matthew 10:8
You will notice from the graph above,
- I overspent my anticipated budget by R6 575,25
- Designated funds were appropriately used
- I under-budgeted

Thank you for your interest in my missionary work. For those who have contributed financially, I am exceedingly grateful; you are on my prayer list and I pray for you regularly.
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth,
where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;
but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where neither moth nor rust destroys and
where thieves do not break in and steal.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
May God bless you abundantly, thoroughly, and perpetually!
In His service – and loving it!
“That His glory may dwell in the land.” Psalm 85:9b
